Description

A tidal creek as seen from the Tideland Nature Trail is featured in this black and white photograph. Located in the Croatan National Forest and near the communities of Cape Carteret and Swansboro, North Carolina, this well maintained path is popular with runners, walkers and bycyclists. A variety of wooden bridges span the tidal creeks and marsh areas along the hike. This recreation area is frequented by a variety song and wading birds.
