Description
The remains of an old dock juts out into sound in the Down East community of Atlantic North Carolina. This moody black and white photo show the ancient pilings extending towards an invisible horizon. The structure, near an abandoned fish processing factory, is reflected in the nearly calm water. Interesting textures can be found in the wood of the pilings and the ripples on the water.
