Description
Three brightly colored autumn leaves hang from a limb in the Croatan National Forest of eastern North Carolina. Each leaf is featuring bright red, yellow and orange. The smooth background of the forest is a soft blend of browns and greens. This color photograph was taken along a forest access road on a rainy Thanksgiving morning. The wetness of the leaves helps to intensify the beautiful fall colors.
