Description
A wild horse feeds on grass on top of a dune while and ocean going freighter passes by in the background. The image sets-up a neat contrast of old & new, ancient and modern. The horse was one of mankind's earliest forms of transportation versus a modern ocean going vessel equipped with internal combustion engines, modern navigational electronics and other technological advances. This is a classic scene or a wild horse that can only be captured along the Outer Banks where wild mustangs roam barrier islands. This photo is dominated by tones of brown and tan, off-set by the pale blue of the sky and sea.
