Artist's Description
This color photograph provides a view of the rural country side of east-central Indiana. The left side of the image is framed by the leaves and branches of a tree. Between the tree and the distant barn is a field of soy beans. Beyond the farm builings a wooded area can be seen. Dominate colors in this photo are green and yellow.
About Bob Decker
I've always been a bit of an adventurer as well as being fascinated by the art and craft of photography. As a boy my folk hero was Daniel Boone. When on family camping trips I'd often go hiking where I'd allow my young imagination to run crazy with images of being an early colonial explorer blazing the way into the unknown wilderness. As an adult my activities have included hiking, kayaking, spelunking, wreck and cave diving and other adventurous outdoor experiences. I always feel drawn to see what lies down that old dirt road, hides behind the next hill, or awaits further down the river. It's been said I suffer severely from the Star Trek syndrome: "To boldly go..." My photography is simply an extension of my thirst for knowledge, desire...
