Description
A black & white photo of the Cape Lookout lighthouse with a slight texture applied to the background. The light is a historic landmark and sits along the Cape Lookout National Seashore near Harkers Island, North Carolina. Core Banks, the island on which the light house is located, is considered part of the Outer Banks. With its distinctive diamond pattern, the lighthouse a a recognizable landmark used by seafarers for nearly 100 years. The textures found in the sand ripples and sea oats help to off-set the smoothness of the sky adds to the visual appeal of this classic beach scene.
