The Center for Disease Control has recommended the use of cloth face masks to help fight the spread of COVID-19.

This face mask is made from 100% polyester and includes two woven, elastic loops for a comfortable, one-size-fits-all fit.

Artist's Description

A view of the Neusiok trail in the Croatan National Forest. This popular recreational feature is the longest contiguous trail in Eastern North Carolina and is also a section of the Mountains to Sea trail. This section is near the town of Newport and includes views of local wetlands and the Newport river. Long Leaf pines are the dominate trees with the floor of this woodlands consisting of small brush and ferns. The dirt path leads the eye into the rear of the photo where it eventually disappears into the trees after passing through a gold spalsh of sunshine on the forest floor.

I've always been a bit of an adventurer as well as being fascinated by the art and craft of photography. As a boy my folk hero was Daniel Boone. When on family camping trips I'd often go hiking where I'd allow my young imagination to run crazy with images of being an early colonial explorer blazing the way into the unknown wilderness. As an adult my activities have included hiking, kayaking, spelunking, wreck and cave diving and other adventurous outdoor experiences. I always feel drawn to see what lies down that old dirt road, hides behind the next hill, or awaits further down the river. It's been said I suffer severely from the Star Trek syndrome: "To boldly go..." My photography is simply an extension of my thirst for knowledge, desire...
