Fine Art America Photographer Scores In North Carolina Wildlife Photography Contest

Every year thousands of amatuer and professional photographers enter Wildlife in North Carolina magazine's annual photography contest. This year Fineart America photographer, Bob Decker, scored a second place in the extremely competitive Birds catatagory and an Honorable mention in for Animal Behavior. Winning images appear in the magazine's January 2011 issue and also hang in the Museum of Natural Science in Raliegh, North Carolina. Bob's winning image is of a Greater Yellowlegs, a migratory shorebird that passed through coastal North Carolina while traveling to and from it's northern breeding grounds. Bob's images often provide a unique perspective and are frequently shot in isolated natural environments accessible by only by kayak and similar craft. Bob resides along North Carolina's Crystal Coast and is a member of the Carolina Nature Photographers Association.
