Description
I made a visit to Atlantic Beach,, North Carolina on Valentine's Day, 2023. The beach was always one of my late wife's favorite places and as our anniversary was February 14 I wanted to make the trip here in her honor. The skies rewarded me with a beautifully colorful sunset. As I turned to walk back to my car I picked up a shell to take home. She had always loved beachcombing and when her health deteriorated to a level that would not allow her to walk the beach I'd always bring her a few shells when I went for photos. Traditions, memories and nature's beauty are the theme of this photo.
