The Surfs Up Grill and Bar is part of the Bogue Inlet Fishing Pier in Emerald Isle, North Carolina. The neon green exterior of the building provides a tropical feeling to the location. The area that this restaurant occupies is known as the Crystal Coast and includes the communities of Atlantic Beach, Salter Path, Pine Knoll Shores, Cape Carteret, Morehead City, Beaufort, Newport and Emerald Isle. The Cape Lookout National Seashore is also consider a part of the Crystal Coast. The area is a popular destination for kayaking, sport fishing, SCUBA diving and beach combing.
