The golden light of the setting sun bathes the pressure treated wood of this pier. North Carolina's Crystal Coast provides some spectacular sunsets. Here is the view from beneath the Bogue Inlet fishing pier in Emerald Isle, North Carolina. Sometimes referred to as the Southern Outer Banks, this is the central coastal area of NC. An outdoorsman paradise, the region is home to the Cape Lookout National Seashore, Croatan National Forest and the Theodore Roosevelt Nature Preserve. Additionally the area is known for its world class offshore fishing and Scuba Diving.
