In addition to the banner, I am adding this more permanent recognition of its FEATURE on the homepage of A TREE OR TREES IN BLACK AND WHITE. I try mightily to feature only images that would be at home in a juried competition. No doubt that this image fits that bill. CONGRATULATIONS! And consider adding your image to DISCUSSIONS "Please post your featured photograph here" for greater, long-lasting visibility.

Artist's Description

A rustic wooden barn appears to have been abandoned and forgotten in rural Onslow county, North Carolina. Found on a backroad between the towns of Swansboro and Jacksonville, this old agricultural building is falling into ruins. The surrounding woodlands , starting to reclaim this old shed, slowly assimilating the ancient structure. I'm not sure but this may have served as a tobacco drying barn at one time. This photo was take the first Sunday morning of March, 2021.
