Artist's Description
A shrimp boat heads in through the Beaufort Inlet after a day of fishing. The sun sets in the background while the rock jetty at Fort Macon provides a leading line moving the eyes to the little trawler. Bird fly frantically around the vessel, looking for scraps to feed on. It is a coastal scene that has played out for generations of commercial fishermen.
About Bob Decker

I've always been a bit of an adventurer as well as being fascinated by the art and craft of photography. As a boy my folk hero was Daniel Boone. When on family camping trips I'd often go hiking where I'd allow my young imagination to run crazy with images of being an early colonial explorer blazing the way into the unknown wilderness. As an adult my activities have included hiking, kayaking, spelunking, wreck and cave diving and other adventurous outdoor experiences. I always feel drawn to see what lies down that old dirt road, hides behind the next hill, or awaits further down the river. It's been said I suffer severely from the Star Trek syndrome: "To boldly go..." My photography is simply an extension of my thirst for knowledge, desire...
