Artist's Description
Two wild horses clash on the mudflats along the North Carolina Outer Banks. Each battling for the fights to include a mare in its harem. Water and mud spalshes up from the marsh floor. These powerful animals have made their home here of nearly 500 years.Today only a few locations still support wild herds.
About Bob Decker

I've always been a bit of an adventurer as well as being fascinated by the art and craft of photography. As a boy my folk hero was Daniel Boone. When on family camping trips I'd often go hiking where I'd allow my young imagination to run crazy with images of being an early colonial explorer blazing the way into the unknown wilderness. As an adult my activities have included hiking, kayaking, spelunking, wreck and cave diving and other adventurous outdoor experiences. I always feel drawn to see what lies down that old dirt road, hides behind the next hill, or awaits further down the river. It's been said I suffer severely from the Star Trek syndrome: "To boldly go..." My photography is simply an extension of my thirst for knowledge, desire...
