This little abandoned house has a lot of charm with its doormer and picturesque front porch. I image it was quite lovely in its hay-day, a cozy country home. From the outside the little homestead looks quite restorable. It has yet to fall into shambles due to rural decay. One cannot help but wonder what the inside looks like or why it has been left to slowy deteriorate on its own. I found this little home along a country road in rural eastern North Carolina. Located not far from some newer developments in Craven county, perhaps someone will recognize its potential and come to its rescue.
