Description
It's mid-January along the Crystal Coast of North Carolina. The remains of an old tree has washed up against a sea oats covered sand dune. The ocean can be seen in the background. Over head the overcast sky is painted with hues of blue and orange. Such are mornings at Fort Macon State Park and the seaside community of Atlantic Beach.
