Description

I came across this old Federal style house near Bayboro, Nort Carolina. I'm always attracted to these old houses. In the over-grown front yard stands a tall pine tree. Its white paint faded and chipped, a rusted metal roof, signs of distress and abandonment, yet this old home still has a beauty worth noting. This style of old home is common around eastern North Carolina and many likely pre-date the American Civil War.
